May 6, 2021
Rockliff suffered a medial ligament sprain in his left knee and a meniscus injury in his right knee during last Saturday's contest against Brisbane and will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks, afl.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Rockliff has recently just recovered from a concussion and the club believes he suffered both knee injuries on the same play in the match against Brisbane. Scans on Tuesday revealed the sprain in his left knee, however, the skipper's right knee became swollen in the days following the game and he ended up needing surgery to repair a meniscus injury. He'll be sidelined for a while with a chance to return either in late June or early July.
