Raptors Hoping To Build Off Win, Host Magic
The Toronto Raptors will host the Orlando Magic at Scotiabank Arena on Friday evening.

The Raptors (2-3) are just 1-3 at home but enter this game in high spirits, as they recorded a 118-100 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Fred VanVleet led the way for the Raptors with 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, in 37 minutes. OG Anunoby followed up with 25 points, five steals, three assists and three rebounds, while Scottie Barnes chipped in 18 points, seven assists, seven rebounds and two blocks. The Raptors shot 46 percent from the field, including 47 percent from deep. That win over Indiana snapped a two-game losing streak at home, and this game will mark the end of a four-game homestand for Toronto. They've gone 1-2 so far in that span while conceding at least 100 points in every game.

The Magic (1-4) are just 1-2 on the road this season, and they've already reached their second two-game losing streak following a 120-111 defeat against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. Cole Anthony was Orlando's best player and finished with 24 points and six assists, while Wendell Carter Jr. contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds. Mo Bamba also had a double-double since he contributed 14 points and 10 boards, and Franz Wagner had 15 points. Terrence Ross added 18 points off the bench. This marks the beginning of a three-game road trip for the Magic, as they'll face the Pistons and Timberwolves afterward before returning to Amway Center.
