Bulls Remain Undefeated To Start The Season
The Chicago Bulls defeated the host Toronto Raptors, 111-108, at Scotiabank Arena on Monday evening.

The contest got out to a competitive start, tied at 24, after one quarter. The Bulls picked up the pace in the second and outscored the hosts, 37-27, in the frame to take a 10-point lead at the break. They carried the momentum through the third and pushed the lead to 12, heading into the final frame. However, the Raptors rallied in the fourth and cut it down to a two-point game with 14 seconds left. The Bulls narrowly escaped after Nikola Vucevic went 1-of-2 at the foul line, allowing the Raptors a chance to tie, but their last shot bounced off the rim, leaving the Bulls undefeated on the season.

DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 26 points on 7-of-19 shooting, and 10-of-10 shooting from the foul line, in 36 minutes of action. Zach LaVIne followed up with 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting, while Nikola Vucevic added 17 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two assists. The Bulls shot 48 percent from the field, including 12-of-27 from deep.

Meanwhile, OG Anunoby led the Raptors with 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals, in 38 minutes. Gary Trent Jr. followed up with 18 points and five rebounds, while Fred VanVleet totaled 15 points, 17 assists, six rebounds and two steals. The Raptors shot 48 percent from the field, including 12-of-30 from long range.

The Raptors (1-3) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Pacers on Wednesday. The Bulls (4-0) play host to the Knicks on Thursday.
