What to Watch: Opening Night in College Football

7:30 PM ET ESPNU - Minnesota (-1) @ Middle Tennessee State - How will the Blue Raiders offense look with Dwight Dasher out?  Fans of Troy and the Sun Belt will be watching this one closely.  The Golden Gophers lost WR Eric Decker to the NFL, but still have senior QB Adam Weber to lead the team.  As the line indicates, I'm expecting a close one here.

8:30 PM ET Versus - 15 Pittsburgh @ Utah (-3) - Dion Lewis and company head west for a match-up with soon to be Pac-10 member, Utah.  I'm interested to see how QB Tino Sunseri does with stud WR Jon Baldwin.  For the Utes, RB Eddie Wide and WR Jereme Brooks should be the main offensive weapons to key on.  As a fan of Dion Lewis, this one is a must watch.

11:00 PM ET ESPN - 14 USC (-21.5) @ Hawaii - We know Lane Kiffin in the new Trojans coach, but what will the offense and defense look like without all the depth USC is used to.  QB Matt Barkley is back for his sophomore campaign and should put up better numbers this time around.  Check out Warriors WR Greg Salas in this one, he can rack up the receiving yards and is one of the WAC's best wideouts.  This one is for the diehards and Trojan fans (me).

Is anyone else as excited about the season as I am?  It's like Christmas in my little world.

What fantasy formats are people playing in this season?  I mostly stick to against the spread pick 'ems, season long pools, Heisman challenges, and head-to-head leagues.

I'll post Saturday's games tomorrow and a Top 25/Stats Leader Recap on Monday.
