2024 Tournament PreviewPeaking at No. 6 in the country in early February, Wisconsin went 3-8 to close Big Ten play and hadn't won a road game since Jan. 23 before rallying to make the title game of the conference tournament. Electrifying transfer AJ Storr (16.9 ppg) has injected life into the Badgers with next-level potential, vaulting the offense to 13th in the nation in efficiency (per KenPom). The 6-7 guard is surrounded by four returning starters, including a pair of double-digit scorers in 7-0 Steven Crowl (11.2 ppg, 7.1 rpg) and 6-9 Tyler Wahl (10.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg), who help the Badgers rank 17th nationally in defensive rebounding rate. Wisconsin is 47th in defensive efficiency (per KenPom), largely because it's woeful at defending the perimeter -- 345th in opponent 3-point percentage -- a level not seen in Madison since the Badgers last missed the Tournament in 2018. Wisconsin showed its potential, though, in the conference tourney, with Storr, who averaged 22.5 points, the difference maker.
