Borsa was released by Winnipeg as part of the team's final roster cuts on Saturday, CFL.ca reports.

ANALYSIS
Borsa was originally drafted by Winnipeg in the 2021 CFL Draft, but was released in July of 2021 after he decided to return to college for his fifth year at Regina University. The team retained the running back's rights after this move, but Borsa will now look for a new team to make his CFL debut with.
