  • 10:30 a.m: Winstrike (Win) vs. Spirit (SPI)
  • 10:30 a.m: Hard Legion (HL) vs. Virtus.pro (VP)

Winstrike vs. Spirit

The first match of the Sunday slate is the Road to Rio CIS Grand final between Spirit and Winstrike, with both teams looking to take home the 1600 RMR points and CIS trophy. Winstrike and Spirit both came from Group A, with Spirit going 5-0 to top the group, while Winstrike were the runner's up going 3-2. Winstrike have been rampant in the playoffs, taking down Syman and Hard Legion, both 2-0, while Spirit simply had a 2-1 semifinal victory over Virtus.pro to qualify. Spirit come in as the favorites, and with the form that mir and chopper have been in, alongside iDISBALANCE, seem to have the firepower to secure the grand prize. Winstrike on the other hand have turned towards Russian star El1an to be the difference maker as they look to upset a red-hot Spirit side. The value in this match should come from the veterans on Winstrike, with bondik and Hobbit in particular looking for a strong performance against the younger side of Spirit.

Win Players to Target: El1an ($12,300 Captain, $8,200 Flex), Hobbit ($10,200 Captain, $6,800 Flex)

SPI Players to Target: mir ($12,600 Captain, $8,400 Flex), iDISBALANCE ($10,200 Captain, $6,800 Flex)

Hard Legion vs. Virtus.Pro

The second match, running at the same time as the CIS Grand final, is the bronze medal match between Virtus.pro and Hard

Hard Legion vs. Virtus.Pro

The second match, running at the same time as the CIS Grand final, is the bronze medal match between Virtus.pro and Hard Legion, with both teams hailing from Group B. In what looks to be the most one-sided match of the day, VP will be trying to turn around a disappointing 2-1 loss to Spirit to take down a strong Hard Legion side. Hard Legion, who topped Group B over the likes of Na'vi and Virtus.pro will be attempting to continue that run of strong form, especially on the back of Forester, who has been exceptional in Road to Rio. If Hard Legion want to take down the giants of VP, they will look to their depth, namely Krad and rAge, who will both need to step up to match the firepower of VP. On the other side of the map, VP will be hoping for a resurgence from their big three stars, with Jame, qikert, and buster all looking to end Road to Rio on a high note. The value in this match could come from a Hard Legion upset, as they have shown all tournament on their day Hard Legion are very hard to beat, even 2-0'ing Na'vi.

HL Players to Target: Forester ($12,000 Captain, $8,000 Flex), rAge ($9,600 Captain, $6,400 Flex)

VP Players to Target: Jame ($13,200 Captain, $8,800 Flex), qikert ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex)

Heretics vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas

The final match of the day is the 5th/6th decider from the Road to Rio, European tournament. Heretics, the up-and-coming French side, take on the veteran Swedes of Ninjas in Pyjamas, with bragging rights and RMR points on the line. While NiP come in as favorites, Heretics have shown themselves on the world stage, especially Maka and Nivera, who have both been contenders for player of the tournament. Both teams boast a plethora of veteran talent bolstered by strong fragging potential. NiP feature twist and Lekr0, alongside nawwk and Plopski, with the latter in phenomenal form as of late. Heretics on the other hand look towards kioShiMa and xms, who have been at the very top of the French scene, to guide the young talents of Maka and Nivera as they climb the world rankings. This match could offer some of the best value of the day, with NiP coming in as favorites, if Maka can have another performance that seems him rated at a 1.24 alongside ZywOo, Heretics could be good for the upset.

HER Players to Target: Maka ($12,300 Captain, $8,200 Flex), Nivera ($9,900 Captain, $6,600 Flex)

NiP Players to Target: nawwk ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex), Plopski ($12,900 Captain, $8,600 Flex)
