Mike Purcell

Purcell recorded 45 total tackles, 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery while playing all 17 games in 2022. Heading into the 2023 campaign, however, the veteran nose tackle finds himself placed on the active/non-football injury list with a knee injury. Purcell will continue to recover from a minor offseason surgery and will be eligible to return to the field when he can pass a physical. The 32-year-old will likely serve as the backup nose tackle behind D.J. Jones, providing a solid depth option if injury issues arise along the defensive line. Read Past Outlooks
