Latest Fantasy Rumors
Expected to play Sunday
George Richards of Florida Hockey Now is reporting that Lomberg is likely to return to the lineup for Game 1 versus Tampa Bay on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Lomberg was a healthy scratch the last three games of the regular season. He was in a slump at the end of the season, going 13 outings without a point. He finished 2023-24 with five goals, two assists, 179 hits and 80 PIM in 75 appearances. The series with Tampa Bay is expected to be a feisty one, and that is right up Lomberg's alley. Jonah Gadjovich is likely to be the odd-man out Sunday.

2018
After playing just 45 games over the course of his first three NHL seasons combined, Lomberg suited up for 55 games for the Panthers last year. He managed nine goals, nine assists, and 117 hits. Lomberg skated almost exclusively on Florida's fourth line when suited up, averaging a little over 11 minutes (11:25) per game. Lomberg brings some energy to the Florida lineup, but that's about it. He has no fantasy value in any format.
