Might serve on top power-play unit
Power is projected to serve on the top power-play unit Thursday versus Boston if Rasmus Dahlin, who is a game-time decision with a lower-body injury, doesn't play, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
ANALYSIS
Power served in that role during Thursday's morning skate in Dahlin's absence. Power has a goal and 12 points in 26 contests this year. Getting a bigger power-play role would naturally help the 21-year-old defenseman, but Dahlin seems to have a lock on the top unit role when he's healthy.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft, Power completed his sophomore season at the University of Michigan before stepping right into the Sabres' lineup in mid-April. He played the final eight games for the club, posting two goals and three points while averaging 22:05 of ice time per game. Power is a legitimate two-way horse who should be an impact player in all three zones, perhaps as soon as this coming year. He may never post more than 40-plus points in any single season, but the all-around package here should be enough for Power to carve out some fantasy value, especially as Buffalo improves as a team in coming seasons.
