Figueiredo gave up an easy early takedown and appeared to be primed to spend a good portion of the opening frame flat on his back, but Lacerda inexplicably attempted to step over his opponent in hopes of advancing to a different position, and that allowed Figueiredo to immediately grab a hold of his knee and force the stoppage.
