Winning streak snapped at four
Ricci lost to Lupita Godinez via split decision (30-27, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 295 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
Ricci fought well and was plenty competitive, but she certainly did not deserve to win this fight, regardless of what the one judge that gave her every round claimed. There's a case to be made Ricci landed the most damaging blows of the bout, but Godinez was the more active fighter, and optics matter in this sport. It didn't help that Tabatha, who may very well have had an edge in grappling, failed on all six of her takedown attempts. The 28-year-old Brazilian entered having won four in a row, so her roster spot is plenty secure. Ricci will look to rebound her next time out.

Next fight booked
Ricci will face off against Lupita Godinez at UFC 295 on Nov. 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Ricci will look to extend her winning streak to five-consecutive fights against Lupita Godinez, after most recently taking down Gillian Robertson. The 28-year-old Brazilian fighter currently boasts a 4-1 record in her UFC career.

Runs winning streak to four
Ricci defeated Gillian Robertson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC on ABC 5 on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.
ANALYSIS
It's Ricci's fourth straight victory on the heels of a knockout loss to Manon Fiorot in her company debut back in June 2021. Knowing full well how dangerous Robertson is on the mat, Ricci did an excellent job of making sure she didn't find herself in a compromising position on the ground. The Brazilian finished the bout with a 101-78 edge in total strikes landed, in addition to connecting on 3-of-8 takedown attempts. Ricci is more than deserving of a bump in competition her next time out considering how thin the 115-pound female division is, particularly up top.

Tabbed for UFC Jacksonville
Ricci will take on Gillian Robertson at UFC Jacksonville on June 24, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Ricci is coming off a submission win over Jessica Penne back in March. That was her third straight win since dropping her debut bout in June of 2021.

Winning streak hits three
Ricci defeated Jessica Penne via submission (armbar) at 2:14 of Round 2 at UFC 285 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Easy work. In a fight which lasted just over seven minutes, Ricci landed 4-of-5 takedowns, secured 5:14 worth of control time and finished with an 81-19 edge in total strikes landed. Somehow, it seemed even more lopsided than that watching it live. The level of competition Tabatha was facing here must be taken into consideration, but she more than handled her business. Having recently turned just 28 years of age, the Brazilian has now won three in a row on the heels of a knockout defeat to Manon Fiorot in her UFC debut back in June 2021.
