Pique was shown a red card in the tunnel at halftime of Tuesday's clash with Osasuna.
ANALYSIS
Instead of taking the field for the Blaugrana one more time, Pique was dismissed from the bench after giving a little too much commentary to the referee. This is a little fitting given his role as a backup this season, though he already had his grand sending-off in Saturday's win over Almeria at the Camp Nou. Pique spent time away at Zaragoza and Manchester United earlier in his career but he'll be remembered for anchoring Barcelona when they were one of the best club sides in history, dominating the 2010's and securing a World Cup for Spain in 2012.

ANALYSIS
It has previously been reported that the Blaugrana want to part ways Pique and Jordi Alba, but the Catalans are now said to have already begun negotiations for the pair to leave during this winter. Between poor performances, off-the-pitch issues and his advanced age, Los Blaugranas do not want to keep the former Spain international around until the end of the campaign.
