The 34-year-old has a contract that runs until the summer of 2024, but Jorge Sampaoli already mentioned that he wants the midfielder gone in January. Even though several teams in Europe are likely to show an interest in the playmaker, there's no question Gomez would be an instant hit at the MLS level.
