Wilkins completed nine of his 18 passes for 126 yards in Sunday's 26-21 win over the Defenders. He also rushed 12 times for 79 yards.
ANALYSIS
Wilkins got the start under center with AJ McCarron (ankle) sidelined, and while he didn't set the world on wire, it's worth noting the signal-caller still ended with more than 200 yards from scrimmage, making his presence felt both as a passer and rushing threat. Wilkins could remain in a starting role in Week 9, but his role will be tied to McCarron's availability for the Week 9 clash against the Renegades on May 25.
