Diamond DeShields

DeShields will join her third team in as many years in 2023 after being traded from the Mercury to the Wings in February. While Deshields could see some time in the starting lineup later in the season, she is slated to miss extended time to open the 2023 campaign. DeShields has averaged double-digit points in four of her first five professional seasons, but her totals in rebounds and assists remain inconsistent. A cold spell in 2022 lost her a starting role in Phoenix, and she averaged just 9.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per game over 11 appearances off the bench. She's shown she can be productive, but her upside may be limited while in a bench role.
