2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hardman is coming off the worst season of his career. After beginning the season with the Jets, Hardman was traded to the Chiefs after Week 6. The only game in which the receiver posted more than 13 yards was in Week 18. In that game, Hardman posted 77 yards, though not many fantasy players benefited from his performance. It’s unlikely that Hardman places any higher than the No, 4 wide receiver on a depth chart. As a result, it appears improbable that the receiver will see a meaningful number of targets. Re-signs with Kansas City
Hardman is re-signing with the Chiefs on a one-year contract, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Hardman left Kansas City for the Jets last offseason but then was traded back to the Chiefs in mid-October after failing to earn a major role in New York. He had a 52-yard reception and a game-ending touchdown in the Super Bowl against San Francisco, making the most of his 19 snaps on offense. Hardman figures to work as a depth receiver again in 2024, and he might also get a chance to returns punts and/or kicks.

Returning to Chiefs in '24
Hardman, who caught the game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl LVIII, is returning to the Chiefs on a one-year contract, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Teicher points out Hardman is returning to a considerably revamped receiving corps, one that's seen the additions of Marquise Brown and rookie Xavier Worthy this offseason. However, Kansas City also released deep threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling, theoretically creating opportunities for the speedy Hardman to carry out some of those downfield routes in 2024.

Hardman was unable to take advantage of Tyreek Hill's departure last season with the Chiefs, missing games for the first time in his career and averaging 33-41 receiving yards per game for a fourth consecutive season. But he scored six touchdowns (two rushing) in eight games, and his 53 percent snap share was a slight uptick from previous years (45, 45 and 52 percent). The 2019 second-round pick had core muscle surgery in February, then signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Jets in March. He'll now catch passes from another future Hall of Famer, though Aaron Rodgers is on the downside of his career and also has Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb at wide receiver. The 25-year-old Hardman arguably offers some post-hype breakout appeal now that he's taking his 4.33 speed to a new team after four straight years in Kansas City with at least 8.3 YPT and a 63 percent catch rate in a part-time role.
