Jazz Hold Off Kings To Stay Undefeated At Home
The Utah Jazz defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 119-113, at Vivint Arena on Tuesday evening.

The contest got out to a competitive start, as the Jazz led, 33-29, after one quarter. It stayed tight through the second, where the Kings were able to grab a one-point edge heading into halftime. Both teams kept up the fight in the third, but the Jazz turned the tide once again, to take a three-point lead into the final frame. The Jazz built some momentum and pushed to a game-high nine-point lead early in the fourth. The Kings fought back with an impressive, 11-1, run to reclaim the edge, but the Jazz had the answer down the stretch, as they quickly reestablished an advantage and held strong through the final five minutes to close out their second straight win and improve to 3-0, at home.

Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Jazz with 36 points, eight rebounds, six assists and a steal, in 32 minutes. Mike Conley followed up with 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting, while Bojan Bogdanovic added 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Rudy Gobert also had a very strong performance, with 12 points, 20 rebounds and four blocks.

Meanwhile, seven players scored in double digits for the Kings, led by Harrison Barnes, who totaled 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Buddy Hield followed up with 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 5-of-7 from long range, while Davion Mitchell chipped in 18 points, four rebounds and two assists.

The Kings (3-4) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Pelicans on Wednesday. The Jazz (6-1) take on the Hawks in Atlanta on Thursday.
