Suns Defeat Pelicans, 112-100
The Phoenix Suns defeated the visiting New Orleans Pelicans, 112,100, at Footprint Center on Tuesday.

While there were 10 lead changes in this game, there were two major swings. New Orleans actually got out to a 20-point second-quarter lead, thanks to a 36-22 first quarter. Phoenix responded from there though, riding a 36-18 fourth quarter to their comeback win. The Suns actually finished on a 25-11 run across the final 8:24 to complete the comeback. Phoenix shot 52 percent from the field while holding New Orleans below 40 percent. In addition, the Suns outscored the Pelicans in the paint, 50-42.

The Pelicans (1-7) were led by Jonas Valanciunas, tallying 23 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Josh Hart amassed 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists. DeVonte' Graham generated 12 points, three rebounds, six assists and four steals. Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

The Suns (3-3) were led by Mikal Bridges, dropping 22 points. JaVale McGee started and provided 18 points and five rebounds. Devin Booker tallied 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists while Chris Paul collected 14 points, seven rebounds and 18 assists. Jae Crowder also compiled 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists to round out the starting lineup.

New Orleans has to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Wednesday, traveling to face the Sacramento Kings. As for Phoenix, they play host to the Houston Rockets on Thursday for their next outing.
